On February 25th, Flipkart officially announced the rollout of UPI payments through its app, confirming the integration of UPI on its platform.
Earlier in January, Flipkart had initiated a pilot phase for UPI payments, targeting a select group of 10,000 users. Therefore, the full-scale launch of UPI on Flipkart doesn’t come as a surprise.
Currently, the UPI banner is visible on Flipkart’s platform, indicating the readiness for UPI transactions.
The UPI functionality on Flipkart will enable users to perform various transactions such as scanning and paying, sending money, and shopping online. Additionally, more features are expected to be announced soon.
